GleamUp Detailing – Terms & Conditions of Service
By scheduling a service with GleamUp Detailing, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the customer and GleamUp Detailing regarding the mobile detailing services provided.
1. Mobile Service Model
GleamUp Detailing operates as a 100% mobile service. Our technicians travel to the customer’s specified location to perform vehicle or boat detailing. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the service location:
- Allows vehicle access and safe parking for our service van.
- Permits the use of water and electricity (if required).
- Complies with any HOA, city, or private property restrictions.
- Provides enough space for safe and legal operation.
- Is safe, permitted, and suitable for performing the service.
The customer assumes full responsibility for the condition and legal use of the work area.
2. Deposits and Cancellations
- A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
- The deposit is non-refundable, and is forfeited entirely if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- If the client cancels more than 24 hours in advance, the full deposit will still be retained as a cancellation fee.
- Rebooking is allowed only once and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- If the client does not reschedule within 30 days of the original appointment, the deposit is forfeited.
- If the client cancels a rebooked appointment, the deposit is forfeited without exception.
- GleamUp Detailing reserves the right to cancel a service if the client is more than 15 minutes late without prior communication. The deposit will still be charged in full.
3. Vehicle/Boat Condition and Limitations
- Our services are limited to aesthetic cleaning and detailing only.
- We do not repair or correct pre-existing damage (interior or exterior).
- Clients must disclose any severe damage, oxidation, pet hair, mold, or biohazards in advance.
- Additional charges may apply if the vehicle requires special equipment, labor, or contamination removal.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, including damaged trim, faded paint, scratched clear coat, or cracked surfaces.
4. Use of Products and Customer Responsibility
- We use professional-grade, high-quality products.
- Some products may have strong cleaning properties depending on the condition of the surfaces.
- By accepting these terms, the customer assumes full responsibility for deterioration caused by product interaction with already compromised surfaces.
- Customers must remove all personal belongings prior to service.
5. Vehicle Movement and Safety
- The customer authorizes GleamUp Detailing to move the vehicle or boat within the work area if necessary.
- GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for theft or damage caused by environmental circumstances at the client’s location.
6. Photo and Video Consent
- GleamUp Detailing may take photos and videos before, during, and after the service for documentation and marketing.
- These may be used on our website, social media, or promotional materials unless the customer provides a written request for exclusion.
7. Service Time and Expectations
- Service durations are based on standard vehicle/boat conditions.
- If additional time is required due to condition or size, the customer will be notified and may incur extra charges.
- If delays are caused by the customer, extra charges may also apply.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints
- GleamUp Detailing guarantees the quality of its service.
- Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of completion.
- If validated, a rework may be scheduled at no extra cost.
- No refunds will be issued for services rendered as described.
9. Weather and Rescheduling
- In cases of bad weather (rain, storms, extreme temperatures), GleamUp Detailing may reschedule for safety and service quality.
- Clients agree to remain flexible with scheduling adjustments.
10. Payment and Tips
- Full payment is due immediately after service unless prepaid.
- We accept credit/debit cards, cash, and secure digital payment links.
11. Property Damage – External to the Vehicle/Boat
- GleamUp Detailing is fully insured against accidental damage.
- We are not liable for damage to driveways, landscaping, fences, irrigation systems, or other property unless caused by direct negligence.
- If damage occurs indirectly (e.g., water runoff, equipment use), it must be reported within 24 hours.
- Clients must disclose fragile or restricted areas in advance.
- In case of a claim, GleamUp Detailing will cooperate with its insurer, and the client agrees to do the same, including using their own insurance if applicable.
- We are not responsible for vulnerabilities not disclosed in advance.
12. Agreement
By submitting a booking or paying a deposit, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined above. These terms protect both the customer and GleamUp Detailing and ensure a professional service experience.
