Terms & Conditions

Service of Vehicles & Boats

1. Scope of Services
GleamUp Detailing provides professional aesthetic detailing services only, including interior and exterior cleaning, cosmetic enhancement, and surface-level protection for vehicles and boats.

Our services are strictly non-mechanical and non-structural. GleamUp Detailing does not perform:

  • Mechanical repairs
  • Electrical work
  • Body work or paint repair
  • Restoration services
  • Mold remediation beyond surface cleaning
  • Structural correction of any kind

Detailing services are cosmetic in nature and do not guarantee restoration, correction of defects, or “like-new” results, as outcomes depend on the pre-existing condition of the asset.

2. Mobile Service Model & Worksite Responsibility
GleamUp Detailing operates as a 100% mobile service. Services are performed at a location designated by the Client.
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that the service location:

  • Allows legal access and safe parking for service vehicles
  • Permits the use of water and electricity if required
  • Complies with HOA, city, marina, or private property rules
  • Provides sufficient space for safe and lawful operation
  • Is safe, permitted, and suitable for detailing activity.

The Client assumes full responsibility for the legality, safety, and condition of the work area. GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for fines, violations, or restrictions imposed by third parties.

3. Deposits, Reservations & Cancellations

  • A $30 inspection deposit applies when an on-site evaluation is required.
  • Deposits are required to confirm reservations and are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will still result in the deposit being retained as a cancellation fee.
  • Rebooking is permitted one (1) time only and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Failure to rebook within 30 days results in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Cancellation of a rebooked appointment results in forfeiture without exception.
  • GleamUp Detailing reserves the right to cancel service if the Client is more than 15 minutes late without communication.

4. Vehicle / Boat Condition Disclosure
The Client must disclose in advance any:

  • Severe wear or deterioration
  • Heavy pet hair
  • Mold, mildew, or biological contaminants
  • Sand, mud, or excessive debris
  • Oxidation or corrosion

Failure to disclose such conditions may result in:

  • Additional charges
  • Service delays
  • Service refusal or termination

GleamUp Detailing is not liable for pre-existing defects, including but not limited to cracked surfaces, faded paint, delaminated materials, worn upholstery, or brittle trim.

5. Pricing Structure & Final Cost Disclaimer
All prices listed on the website, booking platform, or estimates are base rates only.
Final pricing may vary based on:

  • Asset size or category
  • Actual condition upon arrival
  • Incorrect category selection
  • Heavy-duty or oversized vehicles (e.g., Jeep, Bronco, Hummer, Escalade, Tahoe, Expedition)
  • Boats at docks or locations with limited access

If pricing adjustments are required, the Client will be notified before or during service. Booking constitutes acceptance of this pricing structure.

6. Products, Chemicals & Risk Acceptance
GleamUp Detailing uses professional-grade products.

Certain products may interact differently with aged, compromised, or previously repaired surfaces. By authorizing service, the Client assumes all risk related to chemical interaction with pre-existing conditions.

Clients must remove all personal belongings prior to service. GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items.

7. Vehicle Movement & Safety Authorization
The Client authorizes GleamUp Detailing to move the vehicle or boat within the immediate service area if required for safe operation.

GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for:

  • Theft or vandalism
  • Environmental damage
  • Incidents outside of direct operational control

7.1 Aftermarket Accessories & Operational Safety
GleamUp Detailing does not inspect, modify, or validate the safety of aftermarket or third-party accessories.

The Client accepts full responsibility for ensuring such items do not interfere with safe operation. GleamUp Detailing shall not be held liable for operational issues caused by aftermarket accessories.

8. Photo & Video Consent
GleamUp Detailing may capture photos or videos before, during, or after service for documentation, quality control, or marketing purposes unless written exclusion is provided prior to service.

9. Service Timeframes & Operational Delays
Service durations are estimates based on standard conditions. Additional time required due to condition, size, or Client-related delays may incur additional charges.

10. Satisfaction Policy & Limited Remedy
Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. If validated, GleamUp Detailing may offer a corrective rework. No refunds are issued for completed services.

11. Weather, Safety & Force Majeure
Services may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather or conditions beyond operational control. Clients agree to reasonable scheduling flexibility.

12. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion unless prepaid. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, cash, and secure digital payment links.

13. Property Damage External to the Asset
GleamUp Detailing is insured for accidental damage caused by direct negligence only.

We are not liable for damage to driveways, landscaping, docks, fencing, or facilities unless caused by direct negligence. Claims must be reported within 24 hours.

14. Limitation of Liability
GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Wear and deterioration
  • Results limited by asset condition

Detailing is a cosmetic service and outcomes may vary.

15. Governing Law & Agreement
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

By booking, paying a deposit, or authorizing service, the Client confirms full understanding and acceptance of this Agreement.

Monthly Maintenance Program (Vehicles Only)

1. Program Purpose & Scope
The Monthly Maintenance Program (“Program”) is designed to maintain vehicles in clean, protected, and presentable condition through consistent, recurring maintenance-level detailing services.

This Program is intended for upkeep and preservation, not for restoration, correction, or recovery of neglected vehicles. Enrollment assumes the vehicle will be maintained regularly and responsibly between visits.

This Program applies exclusively to vehicles (cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans).

2. Program Structure & Service Frequency

  • The Program includes one (1) prepaid maintenance service per billing cycle.
  • Each billing cycle consists of thirty (30) consecutive days.
  • One service visit must be scheduled and completed within the active 30-day cycle.

Each billing cycle is independent and does not carry obligations or benefits into future cycles.

3. Prepaid Billing & Automatic Renewal

  • The Monthly Maintenance Program is prepaid.
  • Billing is processed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle using the payment method on file.
  • Enrollment authorizes recurring monthly charges until the Program is properly cancelled.

Failure to successfully process payment may result in:

  • Suspension of service.
  • Loss of the maintenance visit for that cycle.
  • Termination of Program enrollment.

4. Maintenance Service Window

  • The maintenance service must be scheduled and completed within the same 30-day billing period.
  • Services do not extend beyond the 30-day window under any circumstances.
  • GleamUp Detailing does not guarantee availability if the Client delays scheduling toward the end of the cycle.

5. Scheduling Responsibility

  • The Client is solely responsible for scheduling their maintenance appointment within the active billing cycle.
  • Failure to schedule does not pause, extend, or credit the billing cycle.
  • Missed opportunities to schedule are considered client responsibility.

6. Reprogramming Policy (One-Time Only)

  • One (1) reprogramming request is permitted per billing cycle.
  • Reprogramming:
    • Must be requested with at least 24 hours’ notice.
    • Must occur within the original 30-day billing period.
  • Reprogramming does not extend or reset the maintenance cycle.

7. Missed, Unused, or Expired Visits
If the maintenance service is not completed within the active billing cycle due to:

  • Failure to schedule
  • Late reprogramming
  • Client unavailability
  • No access to the vehicle
  • Client absence

The visit is forfeited.

  • No credits
  • No refunds
  • No rollovers
  • No substitutions

Missed visits are considered cancelled due to Client responsibility.

8. No Rollover / No Accumulation Policy
Monthly Maintenance visits:

  • Do not roll over to future billing cycles
  • Do not accumulate
  • Do not convert to credits, refunds, or discounts

Each cycle must be used independently within its defined window.

9. Vehicle Condition Expectations
The Program assumes the vehicle is delivered in reasonable, maintenance-eligible condition.

Maintenance pricing and service scope are based on the expectation that the vehicle has not been subjected to:

  • Severe neglect
  • Abnormal contamination
  • Extended gaps between services.

10. Required Add-On Services
If, upon arrival, the vehicle requires additional services to restore or maintain acceptable condition, including but not limited to:

  • Heavy interior buildup
  • Excessive dirt or debris
  • Pet hair accumulation
  • Sand, mud, stains, spills, or odors
  • Exterior contamination beyond maintenance-level scope

The Client will be notified prior to proceeding.

  • Acceptance of recommended add-ons is the Client’s responsibility.
  • Add-ons are billed separately at standard rates.

If the Client declines required add-ons:

  • GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for incomplete results
  • The vehicle may no longer qualify for maintenance-level service
  • Continued eligibility in the Program may be impacted.

11. Repeated Condition Issues
Vehicles repeatedly delivered in excessive or neglected condition may result in:

  • Mandatory service upgrades
  • Additional charges
  • Suspension or termination of the Program

This determination is made at the sole discretion of GleamUp Detailing.

12. Mobile Service Requirements
As a mobile service, the Client is responsible for ensuring:

  • Legal and safe access to the vehicle
  • Adequate working space
  • Vehicle availability during the scheduled service window

If the vehicle is not accessible, the visit may be considered missed and forfeited.

13. Short-Notice Cancellations & No-Shows

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reprogram an appointment.
  • Cancellations or reprogramming with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in:
    • Administrative fees
    • Forfeiture of the maintenance visit for that cycle

14. Program Cancellation Policy
The Monthly Maintenance Program may be cancelled at any time by the Client, provided all conditions below are met.

14.1 Advance Notice Requirement

    • Cancellation requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days prior to the next scheduled billing date.
    • Requests received less than seven (7) days before billing will not prevent the upcoming charge.

14.2 Required Method of Cancellation

    • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
    • Requests must be sent to: contact@gleamupdetailing.com

14.3 Required Client Identification
The cancellation request must include:

    • Client’s full name
    • Service address
    • Phone number
    • Email address associated with the account

Incomplete requests may delay processing and do not waive billing responsibility.

14.4 Billing & Service Responsibility

    • Payments already processed are non-refundable.
    • Cancellation applies to future billing cycles only.
    • No retroactive cancellations are permitted.

Missed or forfeited visits do not constitute cancellation.

15. Pricing Integrity

  • Maintenance pricing applies only within the active billing cycle.
  • Pricing is:
    • Not negotiable
    • Not transferable
    • Not combinable with promotions or discounts.

16. Automatic Payment Authorization
By enrolling in the Program, the Client expressly authorizes GleamUp Detailing to:

  • Securely store payment information
  • Process automatic recurring monthly charges

The Client acknowledges:

  • It is their responsibility to maintain valid payment information
  • GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for bank declines, expired cards, or insufficient funds
  • Payment authorization remains active until properly cancelled

The Client waives future disputes or chargebacks related to authorized recurring charges processed in compliance with this agreement.

17. Program Suspension or Termination by GleamUp Detailing
GleamUp Detailing reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program due to:

  • Repeated missed visits
  • Payment failures
  • Non-compliance with Program terms
  • Vehicle condition issues
  • Operational, safety, or logistical concerns.

18. Limitation of Liability
GleamUp Detailing is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Wear, deterioration, or defects
  • Results limited by vehicle condition or declined add-ons

The Program provides maintenance-level service only.

19. Client Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By enrolling in the Monthly Maintenance Program, the Client confirms that they:

  • Have read and fully understand these Terms & Conditions
  • Accept the responsibilities associated with recurring service
  • Understand that maintenance is not restoration
  • Authorize automatic recurring billing

Acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between the Client and GleamUp Detailing.
